Philosophy

At PostParty, I believe every person deserves care that reflects who they are - their values, their hopes, and their lived experience. My approach is grounded in the belief that birth and postpartum are not just medical events, but sacred and transformative life transitions. They deserve respect, presence, and support that goes beyond the basics.

I trained through Doula Trainings International (DTI), an organization whose values deeply align with my own: reproductive justice, full-spectrum care, and a commitment to supporting every client with respect, dignity, and autonomy. That foundation shaped how I show up as an advocate, a listener, and someone who believes your body and choices are valid.

No two families are alike. I work with each client to understand their unique needs, values, and preferences. That includes how they envision their birth, what kind of postpartum support they’re hoping for, and how they want to feel during this season of life. I’m also here to help you understand what’s happening in your body, what your options are, and what to expect. As your doula, I’ll help you navigate uncertainty, advocate for your needs, and make confident, informed decisions every step of the way.

I believe we all deserve a village. Whether you have one already or are building from the ground up, I hope to be part of that support system. I’m here to help lighten the load, bring clarity to the unknowns, and create moments of calm in the midst of change.

Above all, I hope to help people walk away from their birth and postpartum experience feeling seen, heard, and deeply supported. My care is not one-size-fits-all. It’s thoughtful, relational, and centered on you.
